The Science Class Has left the building! RTCA Mission Trip 2014

The Science Class has left the building! Learning about the science in/of nature while actually being surrounded by nature brings real life to what is being taught in the classroom. Yesterday (4/5) RTCA students and adults traveled to the El Yunque rainforest.  While there we hiked with our tour guide and learned about the various indigenous trees/plants, wildlife (no we didn't see any snakes!), and climate among other things.  One of the highlights of the hike was being up close and personal with the beautiful waterfall! The RTCA students had a blast!
